News update - January 2012
Hector’s 2 Go is delighted to announce that the business will once again feature on the very popular BBC 1 Programme “Homes under the Hammer” on Friday 6th January 2012 at 10am.
The update programme, which follows on from the first edition broadcast last year, showcases the new premises which opened in September to great local support. This is one of the first times that the programme has carried out a second revisit to premises and follows very positive reaction locally and nationally to the first programme.

“We have been so grateful to all our customers both new and old for their support since the new premises opened. The response has been fantastic and we couldn’t be happier. In response to customer feedback we continue to review our menu to make sure that our customers get the best quality and value that we can offer at the best price locally. Following the first programme we had many visitors to the old premises commenting that they had first heard of us from the TV programme and had visited Kyle on the back of the stunning scenery showcased in that programme. We hope that the latest programme will encourage even more to come and visit Kyle of Lochalsh this year.”
The business is also moving forward with its plans to refurbish and expand the existing Hectors Bothy café into the space formerly occupied by the Chip Shop. A planning application has now been submitted and subject to planning the new look café with outdoor seating area should open for trade in time for the 2012 season.
