Hector's Plaice & Bothy - where we are

The Kyle of Lochalsh (Kyle) is the starting point for the Road to the Isles, but it's more than just a stop. You'll find amazing things round here from the beautiful castle of Eilean Donan to the Railway Museum to Pictish brochs (fortified dwellings). Look around while you're here.

Pictured from the top are just a few of the local sites of interest. There is the Kyle Railway Museum, Eilean Donan Castle is close by and used in many films. For a touch of history, try Glenelg Broch - a Pictish fortification.
